This policy explains when contributions made to Maa Shakti Seva Trust through https://myseva.site can be cancelled or refunded.
1. Seva contributions are generally non-refundable
Seva contributions are voluntary and are put to use quickly – often the same day – so they are generally not refundable once received. Please check the cause, quantity and amount before you pay.
2. When we will refund
We will refund a contribution in full if you write to us within 3 days of the transaction and:
the same contribution was charged twice (duplicate payment);
a wrong amount was charged because of a technical error on the Website or payment page; or
the payment was made without your authorisation (for example, misuse of your card or UPI).
GST-invoiced contributions may also be cancelled before the sponsored seva has been carried out.
3. How to request a refund
Email info.mysevaformanavata@gmail.com or call 8866333019 with your seva reference number (starting with MS), the transaction / UTR number, the amount, the date and the reason for the request. We may ask for proof of the transaction.
4. Processing time
Approved refunds of online payments are initiated through PhonePe Payment Gateway to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. The time taken by your bank to credit the amount may vary.
If money was debited but the payment failed or was not confirmed, the amount is automatically reversed by your bank or PhonePe, usually within 5–7 working days. Please contact us if it is not received.
Approved refunds of bank transfers are made to the bank account the payment came from. Cash seva may be refunded at the Trust's discretion.
5. Receipts and tax records
When a contribution is refunded, the receipt or GST invoice issued for it is cancelled, and the Trust's reports to the tax authorities (including Form 113) are corrected. Please do not claim tax benefit for a refunded seva contribution.
6. Cancellation of pledges
Cash pledges and pickup requests can be cancelled at any time before the cash is handed over by calling 8866333019 or emailing info.mysevaformanavata@gmail.com.
